MHM is a motorcycle workshop and we welcome customers, sometimes we'll even let them make the tea. If you like biscuits with your cuppa, please bring plenty as we're partial to a bourbon. Please be aware that we are not a shop or retail outlet and we do not stock any motorcycle parts or clothing. We promise to try not to suck through our teeth when assessing your bike in the way that many other garages seem to start all estimates. We know that many females find the thought of going into a garage or workshop a daunting experience, but rest assured we have many existing female customers, many of whom have remarked on how welcoming we make them feel.
We are open Mon-Fri 8am to 6pm and closed at the weekend. It is always advisable to ring before turning up as we may be out on a recovery or m.o.t.
SERVICING AND REPAIRS...INSURANCE APPROVEDMHM are fully conversant with BMW's and all Japanese models and can offer you servicing and repairs to meet your particular needs, not just what it states in the manufacturer's schedules. With the recent introduction of 'block exemption' laws we are now permitted to undertake scheduled servicing of motorbikes that are still under the manufacturers warranty without invalidating the warranty. Written confirmation was received from Kawasaki UK Customer Services which reads: "We can confirm that using an independant dealer who fits genuine Kawasaki parts will not invalidate the warranty on your machine. It may however affect our ability to cover any failures that are specifically affected by servicing and repairs." We are Insurance approved and can restore your pride and joy to its former glory after an accident. Insurance estimates provided on request.

PERFORMANCE PARTSWe can supply and fit almost any performance part you require. We deal with Akrapovic, Arrow, Remus, K+N, Dynojet, R+G and many other after market quality suppliers, as well as OE performance parts from BMW. We will even fit parts and accessories that you purchase from mail order companies or even the dreaded eBay. You wouldn't get that with a main dealer. Please contact us for all your requirements. |

TYRE CHANGINGAt MHM we will fit your tyres to loose wheels for £10 each or £15 the pair, inclusive of balancing. You can even purchase mail order tyres and have them sent directly to us for fitting. Please give us a quick ring first to arrange a time for fitment. We can of course supply you with tyres of your choosing and will fit these to loose wheels free of charge. |

EENGINE REBUILDSEngine gone bang, lost second gear or head gasket blown? We can strip, inspect, advise and rebuild you engine and get you back on the road / track with the minimum of fuss. Engine only or complete push in / ride out basis. |
PROJECTSHave you overdosed on 'American Chopper' and decided you want something different, fed up of identical bikes and want something a bit more personalised? We can cater for most from fitting a set of Xenon driving lights to building something to make people stop and stare! Race bike / trackday bike prepping available.

RESTRICTOR KITSMHM are approved and qualified installers of 33bhp restrictor kits. If you hold a UK restricted licence you are not permitted to ride a motorcycle producing more than 33bhp (25kw) for the first 2 years. To enable you to legally ride the bike of you dreams we can install and register the official restrictor kit to reduce the power down to 33bhp. Restrictor kits can only be installed and registered by approved fitters. We provide the necessary kits on a ride in - ride out basis and complete the registration process on your behalf. Kits cost £172.99 plus fitting which is usually from 30 minutes to an hour (depending on model) or fitted free when installed in conjunction with a major service.
