Mark stepped straight from school into an apprenticeship with Normand Mobike in Bromley as a trainee BMW and Honda Technician. Normand Mobike were a 5 star dealer, a quality establishment that was extremely rare in those days . Mark completed his City and Guilds with them and completed every BMW course that was available. He ran the workshop on his own for the final three years until the company closed and Mark was made redundant after serving eleven years with the company. It was at that point that Mark went self employed taking most of Mobike's customers with him and formed Mark Holden Motorcycles in 1995.

Darren.

Darren has worked in conjunction with Mark Holden Motorcycles since 1996 and completed his City and Guilds in motorcycle service and repair. As well as being an official Motorcycle MOT tester, he specialises in motorcycle electrics as well as race track preparation having proved himself as an endurance racer by running and maintaining his own team and winning the UK endurance 750cc class in 2004. Darren is also a trackday instructor with Hottrax.
